Union POWs 1/6 plate tintype of two Union soldiers
with no shirts and blue tinted pants. Note the somber
expressions and closed body language. There is truly
no way to prove these are POWs but the pose is
certainly like those of soldiers who’s shirtless photos
were taken following their incarceration in some of the
South’s more desperate prisons. My speculation is that
these guys were not abused as they are skinny but not
skeletal. The pants are tinted and there are some
minor bends and mottling to the plate. Contained in a
nice thermoplastic case. $495.00
