1840’s Mother and Son A ¼ plate daguerreotype of a young mother
and her scowling son whom she is holding on too so he doesn’t move.
He managed to wiggle just a bit. Contained in a full case. Upside
down on the silk pad is written George M. 3 years. This image was
came from a well known major Midwestern collection. There are a
few scattered mold spiders on an otherwise great plate. $600.00
