ID’ed on the back in modern hand as Mike
Miller, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Miller served
in the 21st Wisconsin and the 1st Wisconsin.
His musket with fixed bayonet and his cap
box are visible in the image. A small flake in
the emulsion can be seen in the lower part of
