#07132 The Indirect Gaze– 1/4 plate
daguerreotype of a man looking off to the side
with a serious look on his face. He wears a
light-colored vest, white shirt, dark jacket,
and wide bow tie. A cord is looped around his
neck, and the ends are tucked under his
jacket. A label on the outside of the full case
reads “T.P. Collins, / Daguerreotypist. / No.
100 Chesnut St. ab. 3d. / Silver Medal
Awarded 1845”. I placed this image in the
case so this is not a Collins image. A scratch is
present on tot he left of his head. A very nice
portrait. $250.00
