her hoop skirt will allow. She wears a fancy blue-tinted
dress with little lace flowers sewn in random places all
over it and whitework ruffles around her neck, held in
place with a gold brooch. A gold cord hangs around
her neck and down to her lap. Her fancy hairstyle
includes two parts on top of her head and ringlets in
the back. The unusual dress and the affectionate pose
make one wonder if this was a wedding picture. A few
