Armed Cavalryman in St. Louis A killer pair of 1/6
plate tintypes. This gent sits in front of A.R. Butts , Fort
on the Hill backdrop used at Benton Barracks in St.
Louis. A really interesting pair. Is one image he is in
full dress uniform (except hat) and in the second image
he has removed his jack to expose his suspenders and he
displays his sword more prominently. I believe his
image has been published in military images. Full case.
