#08168 Soldier on Horse – ¼ plate tintype a
soldier on his horse. This western looking image
shows a soldier in his western style hat,
checkered shirt and suspenders. He has a
holstered pistol in his belt and a pistol sticking
out of his boot. While the image at first glance
looks more western than military a camp can be
seen in the background and a tall telegraph pole
is visible in the middle of the image. I originally
purchased this image with another image of the
same soldier in uniform. I have placed this
image which came to me matted but without a
case in a new thermoplastic case. $500.00
