#08172 Grandfather Coppock Double
Armed 1/6 plate tintype of a standing
private Coppock in full uniform holding his
49’ Colt pocket across his chest. He has
another pistol in his belt. The outside of the
cases bears a label reading,”Grandfather
Coppock received from Bertha Coppock.”
Some quick research seems to indicate this
might be an Ohio image. There are a couple
thin runs in the varnish, full case. $595.00
Here is a note from my friend spent a few
minutes looking up the Grandpa Coppock
1/6th plate and a very good possibility he is
David Coppock of the 110th OVI. Found
Bertha Coppock, age 5, in an 1880 US
Census in Miami County, OH, and whose
father was David Coppock.
