#11160  Birney's Staff Group  2  CDV’s sold together.  
One is of Clayton McMichael.  He was enlisted into US
Army 9th Infantry on 8/5/1861 and resigned on
9/28/1865.His promotions are as follows:  
Quartermaster 1/1/182; Captain 3/4/1864; Major
4/2/1865 by Brevet in Petersburg, Virginia.  The group
shot includes McMichael as well as a major officer.  
Both images have Philadelphia back marks.   $425
