11418 Colonel Milton Cogswell A worn CDV of a long bearded
Col. Cogswell posing in his uniform. The back of the card has some
period pencil words discussing who might be the subject. Colonel
Cogswell graduated from West Point, served as a professor there,
served in the late war and was taken prisoner at Ball’s Bluffs. He
and his wife are buried at National Cemetery in Arlington. Back
marked S.C Landon, New Milford, Conn. The corners are clipped
and the mount chipped but the actual albumen is fine. $125
