Westacott of Cambridge, Mass. poses with one
arms resting on a rail while the other rests on his
hip. He was wounded on 12/13/1862 in
Fredericksburg, VA where he had to have his leg
amputated. He died a few days later on
12/30/1862 and is buried at Military Asylum
Cemetery in Washington D.C. Back marked
