11536 Sitting Pretty- This1/6 plate daguerreotype
of a seated woman with nice contrast contained in a
very nice thermoplastic case that is in good
condition except it does not latch tightly. The case
front is raised and shows a mother with a young
toddler in her arms. The mother and child look to
be taken right out of Greek history with their hair
curled and Grecian gowns. The back of the case is
simple in comparison to the front with a plain
grape leaf and bunch of grapes. There are mold
spiders on the plate. $250
