11538 Union Private from Rochester, NY- Tintype
mounted as a CDV depicting a fresh-faced young
soldier with hair that feathers above the ears
wearing a field jacket secured only by the top
button.  The back of the card has a two send stamp
on it and is backmarked “at Geo.W.Godfrey & Co.’
8 Sunbeam Gallery Rochester, N.Y.”   In light
period penci on the back is M Malone.  I found just
one M Malone from Rochester.  $100

Enlisted on 9/4/1863 at Rochester, NY as a Private.

On 9/12/1863 he mustered into "D" Co. NY 14th
Heavy Artillery
He was Killed on 8/19/1864 at Blicks Station, VA
