11565 7th Mass Inf Died From Wounds- Nichols
Henry W. Nichols of Fall River, MA was a 26 year old
law student who enlisted in 1861 as Segeant. He
mustered into “A” Co. MA 7th Infantry and died of
wound on 5/12/1864 at Spotsylvania Court House in
Virginia. He is dapperly dressed sporting a mustache
and finely parted hair stands with legs crossed as he
rests one hand on his hip and the other upon a
column. Identified from a signed CDV on HDS. $165
