12088 Dog Days - 1/6 plate daguerreotype of a boy with
ruffled hair in a short-sleeved shirt and cropped pants
cradling the head of his dog, who sits on a chair with
painted rails. The dog is white, except for two dark
patches on his face and ears, and kept very still during
the exposure. A nice plate with more depth than my
