12300 89th Ohio Lt. Col. Wm. H. Glenn - CDV of William
H. Glenn who enlisted on 7/11/1862 as a Captain. On
8/26/1862 he was commissioned into “A” Co. OH 89th
Infantry. He was Mustered Out on 6/7/1865 at
Washington D.C., and was listed as a POW 9/19/1863
Chickamauga, GA (Confined at Macon, GA). He was
listed as Exchanged on 8/3/1864 at Charleston, SC. Glenn
was later promoted to Major on 10/2/1862 and Lt.
Colonel on 2/25/1863. On October 1862 he was Intra
Regimental Transferred from Company A to Field &
Staff. Front of card reads “W.A. Morrow, Photographer,
Hillsboro, Ohio.” $185
