W.W. Robinson 7th Cav A wonderful portrait with the mount
measuring 10" X 12 1/2" of Robinson in his West Point
uniform . Robinson was one of the young officers who replaced
one of those killed at the Little Big Horn. On June 25, 1876,
George Armstrong Custer and the 265 men under his
command lost their lives in the Battle of Little Big Horn.
Robinson's official transfer date from the 3rd US Cav to the
7th Cav. was June 26th , 1876. He went on to fight Indians in
the West and had a distinguished career. Robinson's signature
is below the photo. A second photo is on the reverse of I.W.
Reese 6th Cav. who died in 1872. $475.00
